Leaf by Niggle
A bewitching tale. I first came across this piece by accident. I was 11 and I was looking for something to read in my home library. So a whole stack of books fell on me from the top shelf, and I became interested in the collection "Tales of Old England", where at the very end there was a very small story that caught my attention. At the same moment, I read it from beginning to end, sitting on the floor among scattered books.
It will be another 16 years when I return to Niggle again to draw these sketches. And thanks to them, get a grant to study at the Moscow Film School
